Estimate Line Properties - Adjustment Tab Screen

Use this screen to apply a part markup, discount, recycled part cost markup, and betterment.

Description of fields on the screen

Field Label	Description
No Adjustment	This option indicates that you are not adding a markup or a discount. This is the automatic default.
Markup %	This option indicates a markup to the part price. After you select this button, you can enter the markup percentage. You have access to this button only if the estimate line does not contain a recycled part, and the part price is greater than 0.00.
Discount %	Using this option indicates a discount to the part price. After you select this button, you can enter the discount percentage. You have access to this button only if the estimate line does not contain a recycled part, and the part price is greater than 0.00.
Cost Markup %	You have access to this button only if the estimate line contains a recycled part, and the part price > 0.00. Enter the percentage part markup for recycled parts.
Betterment %	Enter the percentage of the betterment you are taking on the line. After you enter the betterment percentage, press the Tab key. You have access to this and the next three fields only if your estimating rules are set to allow betterments on parts, labor, or refinish.
Parts	Selecting this option indicates that you are taking the betterment on the part price. You have access to this check box only if the Betterment % is greater than 0.0, and your Estimating rules are set to allow betterment on parts.
Labor	Selecting this option indicates that you are taking a betterment on the Labor Hours. You have access to this check box only if the Betterment % is greater than 0.0, and your Estimating Rules are set to allow betterment on labor.
Refinish	Selecting this option indicates that you are taking the betterment on the Refinish Hours. You have access to this check box only if the Betterment % is greater than 0.0, and your Estimating Rules are set to allow betterment on refinish.
OK	Select this to save the information and close the screen.
Cancel	This button closes the screen without saving.
